Busy kids are quiet kids, so I’ve set up a space saving, always available free-range art station next to the kitchen table. Keeping supplies available, they are used daily. Finding blank wall space for all your newly curated art pieces, optional.
Here’s the exact rolling cart I purchased and what I put inside.
- I purchased this 10-drawer rolling cart. It easily holds a range of art supplies and rolls away for easy storage if I want it hidden. Otherwise, it’s at home next to the kitchen table.
- On top of the cart sits this water painting board with bamboo brush.
- Drawer Two, for colored pencils.
- Drawer Three, an abundance of crayons, we started with triangular crayons for preschool.
- Drawer Four, quick drying Tempra Paint sticks.
- Drawer Five, Color Wonder Mess Free Paper and Markers.
- Drawer Six, Safety Scissors.
- Drawer Seven, Glue Sticks and Tape.
- Drawer Nine, Stickers for Play, Sealing Envelopes, and Reward Charts.
- And finally, the last Drawer holds watercolor paint, stamps, and paintbrushes.
- Don’t forget to keep plenty of blank paper nearby. Happy Creating!
